The Projects I Accomplished

During my convalescence, I spent my time working on hand-craft projects. Not all have been finished. So here is what I have done with 6 weeks of sitting.

Project number one: Learn hairpin lace. I had the instructions and the loom, purchased more years ago than I care to admit! I pulled out the boxes of yarn, and chose the pink, then ran out, but had blue in the same kind of yarn. Then I ended up digging back into the boxes to find something to attached the rows of hairpin lace together. Now I have to wait for cooler weather to wear it!
Doggie Sweater #1.
The days turned cold, and there was all that yarn, just sitting there! This is actually the second sweater. The first one didn't fit well, so I used it as a pattern and created this one.

Then I went back, ripped out half of the first one, and finished it. So the first one became Doggie Sweater #2!

Now of course, the next project was a sweater for the other dog. So Doggie Sweater #3.

Next I set out to start a tatting project. I made a doily like this one a few years ago, and decided to make another. It isn't done yet, but when it is, I will add a finished photo.

The final project is this quilt. I made it a number of years ago, but never did the actual "quilting." This has turned into a much larger project than I ever expected! I am very nearly done...maybe 5-6 more hours of stitching.
The back side..all those tiny stitches!!
I decided to stitch around the motifs, instead
of tying the quilt with yarn.
Yarn would have been faster!!
